A sticky bra is a strapless, backless adhesive bra that holds by sticking to the skin, so blouses with open backs, halter necks and off-shoulder dresses work without a strap showing. Shapify's is a reusable, washable silicone bra with a front clip for lift, in black and nude.

Sticky bra or body tape?

The backless silicone sticky bra is the everyday answer for cups B, C and D: moulded foam cups, adhesive lining, and a clip in the centre that pulls the cups together for cleavage. Body tape is for the outfits a bra cannot survive: plunging necklines, one-shoulder blouses, sheer fabrics and larger busts that need lift from below rather than a cup. Cut the tape to length and lift; nipple covers are included.

How to make a sticky bra stick

1. Start with clean, dry skin. No moisturiser, oil, powder or perfume on the chest that day.
2. Fold one cup outward, position it from the outer edge of the bust inward, then press for ten seconds. Repeat on the other side.
3. Clip the cups together at the centre for lift.
4. After wearing, rinse the adhesive with warm water and a drop of mild soap, air dry sticky-side up, and it is ready to reuse.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to use a sticky bra?

On healthy skin, most people wear it comfortably. If you have very sensitive skin, test a small patch first, and take it off gently rather than pulling.

How many times can I reuse it?

With a rinse after each wear and the cups stored face up, the adhesive lasts through many wears. Oil and lotion are what kill it.

What about a heavy bust?

For D and above, body tape gives better lift than any cup-only sticky bra; many customers use both, tape for lift and the bra for shape.

Will it show under a saree blouse?

No: it is the standard solution for backless and deep-back blouses, and the nude shade disappears under light fabrics.

Backless and strapless is what a sticky bra is for

A regular strapless bra still has a band around the back, which shows under an open-back blouse or a backless dress. A sticky bra has no band and no straps: the cups stick to the skin and a front clip pulls them together, so it works as a backless bra and a strapless bra at once.
